Vintage Miniature Models
Vintage Miniature models was set up in 2011as the result of an enquiry which lead to me becoming involved in a consulting capacity in a range of N gauge vehicles. Although new to the retail side of things I have been a modeller most of my life learning from my father who was a dab hand with a hobbies no 1 treddle fret saw or "Machine" as he called it. Having worked my way through the Airfix and Revell catalogues I honed my skills winning prizes at various times and being commissioned to build the odd model or two for others I have now decided to start designing and producing my own ranges of models

Although based on georgian market town shops from Northallerton Bedale Thirsk and Ripon in North Yorkshire the generic nature of my models means they will suit any location. The models are also designed so that the modeller can use either paint, paper/card or plastic card brick and stone finishes to complete their models. For sometime now I have known Tony And Bea Broadwood and as a result I am able to get the Petite Properties range of charaterful Laser cut buildings I have added a link on this page to illustrate their models with a link to their new website.
The model shown here is a pre-production prototype of a pair of my single fronted shops. The model was designed originally purely to test construction and with ink-jet printed acetate windows on the upper floors, as can be seen these did not show up when the model was constructed and production buildings now have laser cut window frames.
