Vintage Miniature Models
Vintage Miniature models was set up in 2011as the result of an enquiry which lead to me becoming involved in a consulting capacity in a range of N gauge vehicles. Although new to the retail side of things I have been a modeller most of my life learning from my father who was a dab hand with a hobbies no 1 treddle fret saw or "Machine" as he called it. Having worked my way through the Airfix and Revell catalogues I honed my skills winning prizes at various times and being commissioned to build the odd model or two for others I have now decided to start designing and producing my own ranges of models

120Tonne Dutch type Barge
Based on the distinctive Sailing Barges associated with the Thames, Medway, Stour, Colne and Blackwater these vessels could actually be seen anywhere their crews could get cargos for. Our model is based on a steel boat from between the wars so will suit most periods between the 30's and the present day.
